Every free calculator on this site costs us something to build, verify and keep current. Here is exactly where the money comes from — and the one rule that governs all of it.
The rule: nothing we get paid for changes a number on this site. Calculator results, rankings and comparisons come from published ATO, ABS, RBA, APRA and Fair Work rates and our own tested engines — never from who has paid us. If that ever stopped being true we would rather lose the revenue than the trust.
Our main source of revenue. Pro members pay a subscription for saved calculations without limits, income/dividend/super/spending trackers, the portfolio and CGT module, PDF reports and an AI assistant over their own data. The free tier stays genuinely useful on its own — see Pro vs free for the actual split.
Reports and packs generated from a member's own recorded data, sold once rather than as a subscription. Built for people who want a specific answer at a specific moment — like a retirement income projection — rather than an ongoing tool.
Where we introduce you to a third party — for example a mortgage broker — we may earn a referral fee. Where that applies, we say so on the page where the introduction is offered, we name the provider and we only pass your details on with your explicit consent. It never costs you anything or changes the rate or fees you are offered. We are not a credit assistance provider and we do not hold an Australian Credit Licence or an Australian Financial Services Licence.
We do not currently carry third-party advertising. If we do in future, this page and our Privacy Policy will be updated first, and any ads will stay out of a calculator's input or result flow — they will never sit between you and the number you came for.
